Lawson Campground has RV campsites in a clean, closely managed facility. It provides lake access to visitors. It is located in a rural area of Mooresburg, where woodland and wildlife are abundant. Long-term rental is available so campers can sign an annual lease.
The campground is about an hour away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. It is also near Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, Panther Creek State Park and several historic sites. It is in a prime location for picnics, fishing, water sports, boating, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, bird watching and just relaxing.
NASCAR fans may be pleased to know that Lawson’s Campground is just a little over an hour away from Bristol Motor Speedway. The Tennessee Smokies minor league baseball team plays about 45 minutes from the campground. For those who are interested in music and performances, Niswonger Performing Arts Center is located nearby in Greeneville. It offers year round entertainment by a variety of well-known artists.
