Cherokee Park

Cherokee Park, which is located in Morristown on Cherokee Lake, offers plenty of activities for all ages. Concerts, fireworks and parties take place there throughout the year. The park is the home of Lakeway Idol and a Fourth of July celebration. The park hosts rock and country music concerts throughout the year.

An amphitheatre in the park is where performances are set. The park has plenty of picnic tables including pavilions for larger groups. The park is also home to a campground and a marina. It is in a convenient location near restaurants and stores.

While there is plenty of open space for a game of Frisbee or football, the park also has a disc golf course. The Tennessee State Disc Golf Tournament takes place at the course every year. It is free to play disc golf at the park.

Camping, permitted only in the campground, offers a time for relaxation. Each site has a table. Pets have to be on a leash. There is also a dock with several boat slips. Cherokee Park has much to offer families with varying interests. The park is owned by Hamblen County.
