Cherokee Lake Campground

Cherokee Lake Campground is a lakeside campground that features plenty of shaded areas. Located in a rural area, it is nestled away in the foothills of the mountains, offering ample opportunities for recreation and sightseeing.

The campground is only 10 miles west of historic Rogersville, which offers antique shops, diners and historic sites. Other nearby attractions include Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport and historic Cumberland Gap. It is also within an hour’s drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge.

Cherokee Lake Campground has 89 campsites. It offers utility hookups as well as a swimming pool, rec room, picnic sites and more. It is family owned and operated. This campground offers activities for guests of all ages.

It also provides easy lake access for the anglers and those who want to swim, ski, boat or just relax. For those who have an interest in history, the campground is conveniently located near many historic sites, including Davy Crockett Tavern, the Longstreet Museum, the Andrew Johnson Historic Site and Pressmen’s Home.
